The short version: DeepBrew runs 100% locally on your machine. Your card collection, deck data, and usage patterns never leave your hardware. We collect the bare minimum required to validate your license — nothing more.
DeepBrew is an independent desktop software product for Magic: The Gathering players. It is created and operated as an individual project. If you have privacy-related questions, contact us at [email protected].
The DeepBrew desktop application does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Specifically:
When you activate your license key, the app sends the following to our license validation service (a serverless Cloudflare Worker):
No name, email address, IP address beyond what is standard to any HTTP request, or card data is included in this request. The machine ID is a one-way derived value and cannot be used to identify you personally.
After license validation, a time-limited presigned download URL is generated for your model file. This URL expires within 24 hours. No personal data beyond your validated license status is used to generate it.
The app queries the Scryfall public API to look up card data (names, oracle text, images, pricing). These requests include only card names or IDs — no personal information. Scryfall's own privacy policy governs how they handle API requests. We do not send your collection to Scryfall; we only look up individual cards that are missing from our local database.
Purchases are processed entirely by Lemon Squeezy. DeepBrew never receives or stores your payment details (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.). Please review Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle your purchase data.
This website is hosted on standard web infrastructure. Standard server logs (including IP addresses) may be retained briefly for security and operational purposes. We do not run any behavioural tracking scripts, third-party ad networks, or persistent analytics on this site. The embedded Lemon Squeezy checkout widget is governed by Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy.
Since the app stores all data locally on your machine, you can delete your data at any time by uninstalling the app and removing its data directory. License key records held by our validation service can be removed upon written request to [email protected].
DeepBrew is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
